ABOUT LAURA CHISHOLM
Throughout my career I have been fortunate to have worked in house with a variety of organizations, from highly entrepreneurial environments such as Hourglass, Frederic Fekkai & DuWop to the more classic structures of Becca Cosmetics and CHANEL. In 2004 I realized the winning spirit and innovation that Los Angeles brands had to offer and launched a consultancy that worked with some of the best on the west coast, including NYX Cosmetics, COOLA Sun care and Anastasia Beverly Hills.
I’ve opened doors, managed multi-million dollar P&L's, created order systems, developed field teams, negotiated influencer contracts, written brand copy, directed product videos - anything its taken to build a brand. At the start of my career department stores dominated, magazines were our media and the opinion of Oprah could make or make a brand. I have experienced the seismic industry shifts towards a culture of specialty retail, e-commerce, influencers, personalization and community first hand.
Throughout this sea of change, key brand tenants - branding, commerce, operations and relationships - need to be stronger than ever. I am passionate about guiding brands to leverage their strengths and identify opportunities to maximize their future and look forward to connecting.
