ABOUT LAURA CHISHOLM
Throughout my career I have been fortunate to have worked in house with a variety of organizations, from highly entrepreneurial environments such as Hourglass, Frederic Fekkai & rms beauty to the more classic structures of Becca Cosmetics and CHANEL. In 2004 I realized the winning spirit and innovation that Los Angeles brands had to offer and launched a consultancy that worked with some of some of the best in the business, including NYX Cosmetics, COOLA Sun care and Anastasia Beverly Hills.
I’ve cold called retailers, opened doors, created order systems, recruited and managed field teams, negotiated influencer contracts, written brand copy, directed brand videos - anything it’s taken to build a brand. From a landscape where department stores dominated and magazines were our media to a culture of specialty retail, e-commerce, influencers, AI personalization and community I have seen the seismic shifts of our industry first hand. Throughout this sea of change, key brand tenants - branding, commerce, operations and relationships - need to be stronger than ever. I am passionate about guiding brands to leverage their strengths and identify opportunities to maximize their future and look forward to connecting.
